There are so many reasons that Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration is amazing to visit. During Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration, the park is full of colorful summer bits everywhere you go. This celebration of the summer also features unique seasonal foods, drinks, treats and special entertainment. Dollywood is surrounded by the amazing sights, sounds, and smells of the summer season!

Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration Decor

During the Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration, Dollywood is covered with an array of colorful summer decor items. Some of these items you will see are the colorful water hose fountain sculpture, the foam pit (that you can actually play in), the bright yellow rocking chairs, the giant spinning tops, and the rainbow made out of pool noodles.

But the most popular decor item during this summer celebration is the Kite Sky. Look above your head as the colorful yellow and orange kites float in the summer sky. The Knite Sky can be found in Showsteet.

Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration Entertainment

Music fills the warm summer air during the Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration. The entertainment line-up features bluegrass, country and southern gospel music performances daily across the streets and stages of Dollywood.

Also, exclusive to the Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration is the Imagination Playhouse. The Imagination Playhouse is a set of musicals based on the children’s books Coat Of Many Colors, The Little Engine That Could, and Violet The Pilot.

Gazillion Bubble Show: Aurora

The Gazillion Bubble Show : Aurora is a show that is not to be missed. Watch as gazillions of bubbles envelope the theater in a show that all ages will adore. Whether it be small bubbles, big bubbles or colorful bubbles; all bubbles make an appearance in this popular show.

Gazillion Bubble Show : Aurora can be found in the Dolly Parton Celebrity Theater during different times of the day.

Sweet Summer Nights Drone & Fireworks Show

What’s a better way to end your day at Dollywood than with the Sweet Summer Nights Drone & Fireworks Show. This firework show features tons of drones and fireworks that tell a unique Dollywood story through 3D animations and a symphony of dazzling light. The show starts at 9:40 P.M and can only be seen at Wildwood Grove.

But there is even more fun before the show. In Wildwood Grove, just before the fireworks begin, you have the chance to show off your dance moves during the Sweet Summer Nights Dance Party. This energetic dance show features a live DJ and dancers that will get you in the summer dancing move. The show is 30 minutes long and happens twice during the night (once at 8:45 and the other showing at 9:15 which is afterwards followed by the Sweet Summer Nights Drone & Fireworks Show.).

Both of these shows take place in Wildwood Grove and are a spectacular way to end your Dollywood vacation.
